Growing up an athlete, Kate pushed her body to its limits until her numerous injuries led her to discover yoga as a way to heal and recover. After a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis in 2012, Kate turned to yoga more seriously and started viewing it as longevity practice instead of a way to stretch in between workouts and runs.

Kate's classes are heavily influenced by anatomical alignment and engagement principles in part due to her 8 years as a personal trainer prior to teaching yoga full time. She is very passionate about making yoga accessible to every body regardless of physical limitation or injury.
